Rejané is a journalist-turned-technologist based in Toronto, Canada.
Adept in copywriting, content producing, web strategy, and development, they come alive when leveraging their passion, power, and purpose to build and enhance platforms where community advocates can mobilize and inspire local action—in their own languages and on their own terms.
With a diverse background spanning the South African NGO sector, community radio, public radio, and commercial TV, they spent most of their career promoting participatory and citizen-led media initiatives.
Rejané holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and is pursuing a dual Honours degree in Gender and Women’s Studies and Sexuality Studies.
