As Operations Manager, Adeola propels IRIS forward from the ground up. Adeola has built a career creating impact using a well-rounded set of skills across the operations realm, including expertise in strategic communications, marketing, member recruitment, partnerships and database and project management.
Prior to joining IRIS as the Operations Manager, Adeola worked at the Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA) as the Manager of Talent Services. In their role at LCDA, Adeola led the talent acquisition process engaging the association’s membership with the goal of driving and accelerating U.S. Hispanic and Latino participation on corporate boards with a focus on data-driven strategies.
In addition to their experiences with LCDA, Adeola spent almost five years supporting fundraising and philanthropy work as the Individual Giving and Events Manager for WHUT at Howard University. At WHUT, Adeola was responsible for engaging with donors, creating donor facing events and activities and managing WHUT’s giving campaigns.
At IRIS, Adeola manages operations in a myriad of ways including budgeting, vendor and procurement management, hiring, personnel, team information management, grant writing and reporting and scheduling.
